Rebel Kat Productions is Rebecca’s dream in the making. Rebecca is a property investor with holdings in Washington, Colorado, and Kansas. Rebecca has a unique background that includes theatre, music, teaching K-8, leadership, and philanthropy. In creating Rebel Kat Productions, Rebecca is able to combine her passion for the arts and business together to finance and produce high quality film and episodic content. Rebecca is married and has two adult sons and two cats.
Nike (pronounced NEE-kay) Imoru, Co-Founder, President
Nike is a multiple award-winning actor. She has a stack of national and international acting credits, from BBC Radio 4 to The Royal National Theatre, London, and her seminal one-woman performance of Medea in Delphi, Greece. More recently, her lead and supporting roles in all-female productions of Shakespeare’s plays have garnered considerable critical acclaim and plaudits.
Prior to casting film and television, Nike was an established theatre academic, holding a PhD from the University of Warwick. She has published essays on theatre and colonialism, feminism, and race. She held academic posts at the Universities of Leeds and Hull, UK, as well as Western Washington University, and the University of Idaho in the US.
Ty Accornero, Media Investment Advisor
Mr. Accornero founded the Windbreak Media in 2016, a leading entertainment company and investment manager. As CEO of the company, he sets and executes the strategic vision for the company. As an exclusive advisor to Rebel Kat, Tyler is involved in all aspects of the company’s operations and investment funds.
Ty has produced films with top industry actors including: Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Ian McKellen, Sylvester Stallone, and Danny DeVito. His credits include titles such as Animal Crackers (2018).
A native of Seattle, Washington, Mr. Accornero is an active member of the Greater Seattle community, raising $3 million for local non-profits.
